Letter to Israel A.Barker, Chief Marshall Brooklyn Sunday School Union. “Sir: I am directed by the governor to acknowledge the receipt of your invitation for the 23d instant and to express his regrets that pressing official engagements make it impossible for him to leave the city on that day.
